The Early Childhood Educator will plan and implement a Child Care program following the philosophy, program statement, and guidelines established by the Centre ensuring to establish and maintain positive daily communication with children, families, co-workers, and community contacts while maintaining a professional attitude and confidentiality of all clienteles.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to deal with classroom management, stressful and emergency situations and to take appropriate action based on established policies and procedures and will be able to implement a fun and engaging daily program for children using current Child Care pedagogy.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Must have a post-secondary degree/diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Be a Register Member, in good Standing, with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to communicate effectively in both official languages, French and English, is a definite asset.
- Valid Criminal Record Check
